Day 19 – CF Card
Thanks for the nice comments you’ve all been leaving. I wanted to tell you about the DVD. You would be surprised how simple it was! I laid it on white poster board and stood over it on an angle. I used on-camera flash and set it so it was rather intense to blow out the white paper. The color in the DVD was somewhat from the lights in the room but mostly (90%) from the on-camera flash. Give it a try!

Great catalog style shooting here… love the isolation and the bright colors. DOF could go either way depending on the purpose of the shot (if this were a product shot, more DOF would be needed… plus turning the product right side up)!

Nice macro, I love the detail in the holes , but would like to see just a touch more DOF, like maybe one stop, as the back looks a bit blurry to me, still a good shot though!

I like the DOF used. It doesn’t have to fully be in focus to get a good effect. This makes it interesting and a great “stock” shot. Keep up the good shooting.

Great shot. I like how you can see little signs of the disk being well used. Makes you think about how many pictures have been on that disk in its lifetime.
